Thanks to the 150 Irish music-loving supporters who came out on Sunday, October 26th to support MEP!  Thanks also to The Codgers (pictured here), JamRocks and Inis Ceol who donated their talents to this festive occasion.  Mostly, thanks to Rosa Tinetti for organizing this party as a labor of love for MEP for the consecutive year.

MEP will host the 21st Annual Side-by-Side Golf Outing on Monday, July 21st, beginning at 10:00 AM at Walnut Creek Country Club in South Lyon. This event is an excellent way to raise money for a worthy cause while enjoying the great game of golf with other socially-minded golfers.  Some say this is the most fun golf outing of the season...

MEP held its 8th annual Doorway to the Future Dinner on March 20th at Cobo Center's Grand Riverview Ballroom.   The gorgeous view along the Detroit River on a sunny near-spring day was a perfect backdrop for the event's inspiring program that drew 330 MEP donors, volunteers, students, staff and supporters....

Women in the Advanced Adult Basic Education Program participate in networking with local professional women.

 

At the end of November, two dozen students from Mercy Education Project’s Women’s Educational Services program and more than a dozen local professional women gathered at Henry Ford College in Dearborn for a day of networking and skill building. 

 The event was the capstone to our pilot program “Emerging Professionals,” a five week seminar led by professional consultants Mary Beth Weigel and Janette Philips, in which women from our advanced Adult Basic Education program learned more about who they are and...
