Interim Executive Director and Director of Development and Major Gifts
Janette Phillips

Janette is responsible for donor relations, the financial health of the organization and oversight of MEP’s strong Women’s and Girls education programs. Janette joined MEP in November, 2018. Prior to joining MEP, Janette was Business Development Director for Chrysalis Global Consulting (www.chrysalisglobal.com) and Chairperson of the Mobile Technology Association of Michigan’s (www.GoMobileMichigan.org) statewide ‘Women in Mobile Tech’ Advisory Council. In each of these roles, Janette continued to further her commitment to women in technology fields by connecting women to each other and to the tech industry in Michigan.

Prior to joining Chrysalis Global Consulting, Janette was the Executive Director of the Michigan Council of Women in Technology (www.MCWT.org). In that role, she led and supported a group of 700+ women in achieving significant growth and success in the IT industry across Michigan, while also providing the ability for girls and young women to learn about the opportunities provided by a rewarding career in technology.  Phillips worked for more than 16 years within the Ameritech/AT&T system as an account executive and manager for outsourcing solutions.

 Janette is a graduate of the University of Michigan, and is actively involved in a variety of non-profit and parent education organizations. Janette is currently president of the Bloomfield Hills Rotary Club, a nonprofit with strong community and global outreach. (www.rotary.org)

Director of Educational Services
Rosanne Plasky, M.Ed.

Rosanne joined MEP with over 25 years of professional experience in education, workforce training and curriculum design, and staff and volunteer management and development.  She has spent her entire career in the nonprofit sector - most recently in the fields of health care and adult education.  Rosanne's life-long devotion to volunteerism, combined with her passion for improving adult literacy, drew her to the mission of the Mercy Education Project.
