Wish List

Our updated Wish List is below. We also welcome individuals and companies to hold specific collections for our girls and women. Please call (313) 963-5881 to make arrangements.

For the Girls’ Programs:

• Items for 1st to 5th graders for the prize closet: Most items should range from $1 - $5 and should be new (e.g., jewelry; stuffed animals; board or card games; do-it-yourself craft kits; holiday decorations; room decorations)
• Activity supplies: Stickers, satin thread, do-it-yourself craft kits (sets of 15), scrapbook supplies, etc.
• School supplies: Notebook paper, folders, pencils and pens, and single subject notebooks
• Gift cards to Meijer, Wal-Mart, or Target in $5, $10, or $15 increments for incentives
• Nonperishable, healthy snacks: crackers, juice boxes, granola bars, etc.

For the Women’s Programs:

• Student materials: single subject notebooks, plain 2-pocket folders, pencils
• DDOT Bus passes
• Gift cards for emergency needs and incentives
• Bath and body products for incentives
• Steck-Vaughn individual subject GED books

Organizational Needs to Support All Services:

• Paper products (plates, napkins, forks, etc.)
• Copy paper, card-stock, decorative copy paper
• Soil, mulch, flowers, etc.
