Healthy Halloween Fair

Mercy Education Project hosted its inaugural “Healthy Halloween Family Wellness Fair” on Friday, October 25, 2024.

Nearly 200 participants enjoyed a unique fun and healthy version of a trunk or treat held on board MEP’s bus and throughout the parking lot.

The event also featured free health screenings and flu vaccinations from Wayne Mobile Health Unit, craftmaking with Arts and Scraps, a cooking demo by Henry Ford Health, and Halloween-themed dance classes by Line Dancing with Debbie and Penny Love Fitness. Azulindo Food Truck and Sweet Potato Delights provided food for the event.

The Healthy Halloween Family Wellness Fair was made possible by funding from the Total Health Care Foundation. MEP plans to host the event again in October 2025.
