MEP + Verizon
WAVE Presents: Moving Our Communities Forward.
Thank you, Verizon for allowing MEP to share our students' digital divide experiences and triumphs.
During these pandemic years, with the support of Verizon Wireless, MEP rebuilt our computer lab, created a technology lending library, and taught digital literacy courses; that allowed several MEP women to enter the modern workforce and become stronger parents supporting their children with remote learning.
We are grateful to have built this digital community together and continue to bring education into our students' homes!
See the video below of this webinar that took place on Monday, January 10, 2022.
Verizon’s SVP, State, Government, and Regulatory Affairs, Lydia Pulley spoke about Verizon’s national community engagement efforts and how they support the company’s overall commitment to society.
This event featured an incredible panel of women nonprofit leaders from across the country, moderated by WAVE Southwest Community Committee Co-Chair, Jessica Cohen.
